David F. Duncan, Dr.PH, CAS, is President of Duncan and Associates,
and a Clinical Associate Professor of Community Health at Brown
University School of Medicine. With more than thirty years experience in
the field of drug abuse, Dr. Duncan was one of the pioneers of Disease
Prevention. He holds an interdisciplinary doctorate from the University of
Texas School of Public Health, was certified as an alcohol and drug
counselor in Texas in one of the pioneering certification programs in the
early 1970's, and has published three books, twenty-five book chapters,
and over one-hundred-fifty papers in scientific and medical journals.
