Distance Education course provided by the ATTC-NE are approved by the following accreditation bodies:


California Board of Behavioral Sciences - PCE#1917. Courses provided by the ATTC-NE are approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for MFCC and/or LCSW educational credits.

National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) - Provider # 000151. NAADAC has approved all ATTC-NE Distance Education courses for continuing education credits.

Connecticut Certification Board ATTC-NE courses are approved for substance abuse counselors by the Connecticut Certification Board, an IC&RC affiliate.

Applications for the American Psychological Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors are currently pending.

The New York State
OASAS does accept distance education CEUs provided by the Addiction Technology Transfer Network for individuals pursuing or renewing a CASAC, CPP or CPS.

In addition to the accreditation bodies listed above, many local, state, and foreign certification boards accept distance education credits for certification and re-certification. Please check with your local certification board to verify acceptance and reciprocity of ATTC-NE continuing education credits.
